Nasha Mukt Bharat Campaign to Receive New Impetus as AVSK and Government of India Sign MoU

Initiative to Keep Youth Away from Substance Abuse Through Siddha Yoga; Awareness Programmes to Be Held in Schools and Colleges

Jodhpur: A significant initiative has been undertaken to give fresh impetus to the Nasha Mukt Bharat Campaign and protect young people from the harmful effects of substance abuse. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, and Adhyatma Vigyan Satsang Kendra (AVSK), Jodhpur, under the de-addiction campaign.

Under the agreement, various programmes will be jointly organized to raise awareness about substance abuse among young people and different sections of society through Gurudev Siyag Siddha Yoga, and to inspire them to lead healthy, positive, and addiction-free lives. Special emphasis will be placed on conducting awareness programmes in schools, colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.

On the occasion of the signing of the MoU, Mr. Sudhanshu Pant, Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, was present. AVSK, Jodhpur, was represented by Chandravir Singh, Ramlal Malav, and Surajpal Singh.

AVSK stated that, through the philosophy of Siddha Yoga as taught by Gurudev Shri Ramlal Ji Siyag, the organization will work to foster self-confidence, positive thinking, and awareness of a healthy lifestyle among young people. The campaign aims to increase public awareness about the social and personal harms caused by substance abuse and to encourage collective participation in building an addiction-free society.

According to the organization, a detailed action plan and programme framework for the campaign's upcoming activities will be released shortly.
