Guru Poornima

The most auspicious day for spirituality between the Guru and the disciple. Guru Poornima festival is celebrated with great reverence and devotion every year on the full moon day of the ‘Aasadh’ month as per Hindu Calendar Year (this falls every year in the month of July as per English calendar year).

On this day Maharishi Veda Vyas bestowed spiritual knowledge to his disciples. Since then this day is celebrated in India with great faith and devotion by the disciples in the honour of their Guru.

Disciples worship their spiritual master on this day and seek his blessings. It is by the grace of God alone that one is able to meet the spiritual master.

Thousands of disciples of Sadgurudev Shri Ramlal Ji Siyag gather on this occasion at AVSK, Jodhpur ashram from all over India and abroad to pay respects and seek his blessings.
  • A brief programme is organized where video recording of Gurudev’s divine discourse is played. This is followed by meditation for 15 minutes after listening to the Sanjeevani mantra in the divine voice of Gurudev. The programme ends with the distribution of Prasadam (a feast for everyone).
