I used to consume opium for the last 7-8 years. If there was ever a delay in getting the opium, I used to feel my body sinking and I used to get out of control.

  • Once a Siddha Yoga meditation camp was organized in our village- Balesar, by Adhyatma Vigyan Satsang Kendra, Jodhpur, for Shaktipat Initiation.

  • I was told by a villager that an empowered, enlightened Guru is coming who is capable of giving direct experience of God and by whose grace one is freed from all kinds of drugs, diseases and mental illnesses. I attended that camp.

I started the spiritual practices described by respected Gurudev. Within four-five days of starting the chanting and meditation, I did not feel the need of opium. My body felt completely healthy.

  • I had severe chest pain for about 12 years, for which I always used to keep pain relieving medicines with me.

  • To calm down the pain, I used to take medicines. After coming to revered Gurudev, I have got complete freedom from that disease also. From five to seven days after initiation, till date (about 5 months) I have not consumed opium.

  • I did not face any difficulty in quitting. Today I find myself healthy. All this is the outcome of following the spiritual path of Gurudev.
